Many companies are coming out with this particular mode of recording format so that the consumers have in their hands, a small sized camcorder. With the presence of this type of recording formats, the video recording also gets speeder. 3. The recent and more acceptable format of recording is seen with the internal hard disk drives which are incorporated into the camera body itself. These have the ability to store a huge amount of data, according to the size of the hard disk, which can range up to many gigabytes. But the presence of the internal hard disk drives increases the size of the camcorders, which is a disadvantage over the small sizes. 4. The direct recording into the DVDs is a new aspect of recording formats, where the videos are directly put into the discs that can be played in the DVD players directly, without the need to convert into a playable format. This kind of recording has appealed to people who are using such discs but then the capacity is lower that the HDD drives. One more variety that people can choose from if they compare the camcorders available in the market is that of the camcorder with two storage formats. This means that the video recorders have an internal flash drives as well as removable memory cards. The advantage is that people can have their recordings saved, even if one of the recording formats goes waste or is lost. Such type of facilities is typically called as dual memory devices. When consumers are out comparing the camcorders, they need to look into the different storage formats, as it allows them to choose the one camcorder which is small and has the suitable recording format. Accordingly, they have a price which they need to pay for and get the most suitable one. With advancements in technology, people have got the options of selecting from different types of equipments and camcorders are being manufactured with different styles and facilities. The result of comparing is quite beneficial as people can get the most suitable product from the market, at their paying capacity.
